A nice hotel with compassionate employees at the time call back to motel to speak to manager. Spotlessly clean room with comfortable decor.

The mermaid inn had a lovely pool surrounded by colorful chairs and tables. The location is close to the beach. The check-in staff was friendly and accommodating, made our arrival smooth. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable.

I just spent a week at the Mermaid Inn and I really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent. Right on the beach, perfect for morning walks. The room I had was clean and well-kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. They were pretty good too meet our needs, even when they were short-handed due to the holiday. I loved the beachy decor. Having a full-sized coffee maker in the room was a nice touch compared to the typical smaller ones. I did notice a few areas that could use some attention. The walls seemed thin since I could hear conversations from housekeeping in the morning. The only other minor inconvenience was that my room had some outdated furniture, needed a facelift, and the TV had a few channels that didn't work properly. The stay was enjoyable despite these little things. I would definitely consider coming back for another beach getaway.

The beachfront location made it easy to hit the Boardwalk promenade and enjoy some golf. The staff was super friendly and the pets were welcome, a huge plus for us. The room wasnice and neat.

I loved that the hotel was right on the beach. There were lovely dining options just a few steps away like the Ocean Cafe and Captain's Cafe. The clean, comfortable rooms added to the pleasant experience for me as a solo traveler exploring Myrtle Beach, but I did wish for a bit more oversight as there were some noisy disturbances outside my room.
