Newly decorated & nicely furnished room on lower level. Clean facilities there. Marvellous, unbeatable location in an excellent location in a beautiful neighborhood.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

A nice hotel with compassionate employees at the time call back to motel to speak to manager. Spotlessly clean room with comfortable decor.

You asked, I answered
The room's cleanliness was commendable, though I did encounter some minor issues. The staff worked hard, but I experienced slow service during peak times. Ideal for beach lovers, it serves as a decent retreat with essential amenities.

Perfect location right on the beach, this place offers a fun and beachy decor that makes for a pleasant stay. The full-sized coffee maker in-room was a welcome touch, and the swimming pool was in great shape. A $100 pending charge on my credit card lingered longer than expected despite checkout, and the cleaning staff's morning chatter crept into my room's peace.

I adored the charming beachy decor and how accessible everything was. The patio area was good, and just steps away from the sand.
Would appreciate more seating options in common areas.

I just spent a week at the Mermaid Inn and I really enjoyed my stay. The location is excellent. Right on the beach, perfect for morning walks. The room I had was clean and well-kept. The staff was helpful and friendly. They were pretty good too meet our needs, even when they were short-handed due to the holiday. I loved the beachy decor. Having a full-sized coffee maker in the room was a nice touch compared to the typical smaller ones. I did notice a few areas that could use some attention. The walls seemed thin since I could hear conversations from housekeeping in the morning. The only other minor inconvenience was that my room had some outdated furniture, needed a facelift, and the TV had a few channels that didn't work properly. The stay was enjoyable despite these little things. I would definitely consider coming back for another beach getaway.

Spent two nights here and loved the full-sized coffee maker and clean room. The outdoor pool was refreshing after a long day, and the beach access was just a short walk away. One thing to note is the bathroom light flickered a bit, but overall, it was a nice stay! ☕️

My kids wished for a bigger swimming pool area for more space to splash around.

missingWrote a review on 29 Junmaintenance issues
Some maintenance issues caught my attention, like weak water pressure in the shower, leading to an unsatisfactory experience while rinsing off after a beach day. The lack of adequate cleaning services left me with unmade beds and unclean floors, which didn't meet expectations for a comfortable stay. The room decor felt outdated, and an unintended draft from poorly sealed windows added unnecessary discomfort. Lastly, I found the parking situation tight.

Location is perfect for beach activities. The air conditioning was broken, which made for an uncomfortable night. The children's playground was fun for the kids. Encountered some issues with staff communication when asking for help with the room. No breakfast available, and I never saw hotel staff during my stay.

perfectly situated for beach access and local dining spots
I loved that the hotel was right on the beach. There were lovely dining options just a few steps away like the Ocean Cafe and Captain's Cafe. The clean, comfortable rooms added to the pleasant experience for me as a solo traveler exploring Myrtle Beach, but I did wish for a bit more oversight as there were some noisy disturbances outside my room.
